• (ક) ભારતનો નાગરિક હોવો જોઇએ.
• (ખ) ધોરણ – ૧૦ પાસ અથવા તેથી વધુ શૈક્ષણીક લાયકાત ધરાવતો હોવો જોઇએ.
• (ગ) ઉંમર ૧૮ થી ૫૦ વર્ષ સુધીની હોવી જોઇએ.
• (ઘ) વજન ઓછામાં ઓછુ ૫૦ કિલો હોવું જોઇએ.
• (ચ) ઉંચાઇ ઓછામાં ઓછી ૧૬૨ સેન્ટી મીટર,

છાતી ઓછામાં ઓછી ૭૯ સેન્ટી મીટર હોવી જોઇએ, ૫ સેન્ટી મીટર જેટલી છાતી ફુલાવી શકતા હોવા જોઇએ.

• (છ) અરજદારે કોઇ ગુન્હાહિત કૃત્ય કરેલ ન હોવું જોઇએ. અને ભારતમાં વિધિ દ્વારા સ્થાપિત કોઇ પણ ન્યાયાલય દ્વારા શિક્ષા થયેલ ન હોવી જોઇએ.
• (જ) અરજદાર કોઇ કોમી સંસ્થા સાથે સંકળાયેલ ન હોવા જોઇએ તથા કોમ્યુનલ બેકગ્રાઉન્ડ ધરાવતા ન હોવા જોઇએ.

હોમગાર્ડઝદળમાં ભરતી થવા આવનાર મહિલા ઉમેદવારની લાયકાત

• (ક)     મહિલા ઉમેદવારના કિસ્સામાં ઓછામાં ઓછું વજન – ૪૦ કિલો હોવું જોઇએ.
• (ખ)    મહિલા ઉમેદવારોની ઉંચાઇ ઓછામાં ઓછી ૧૫૦ સેન્ટી મીટર હોવી જોઇએ.
• (ગ)    ૩ (અ) માં સુચવેલ મુદ્દા નંબર ક, ખ, ગ, છ અને જ માં સુચવ્યા મુજબ ની લાયકાત યથાવત રહેશે.
