Ahmedism. Corona positive case statistics are rising alarmingly in the state. Corona infection has spread in 15 districts of the state so far. Jayanti Ravi, Health Principal Secretary Updating Corona, said that 16 more positive cases were registered in the state. Cases are increasing in the areas of people coming from the stage. Due to clustering, the cases are increasing. There have been 144 cases in the state. In Ahmedabad, 11 new cases have been registered while Surat, Mehsana and Patan each have new cases. A total of 144 positive cases have been registered in the state. Of these, 11 patients died and 21 were discharged after being healed. It is also a matter of concern for the state that local transmission cases are now increasing in the state. Of the total 144 positive cases, 85 are local transmission. District-wise statistics show 64 positive and 5 deaths in Ahmedabad, 17 positive and 2 deaths in Surat, 13 positive in Gandhinagar, 13 positive and 2 deaths in Bhavnagar, 10 positive and 1 death in Vadodara, 10 positive cases in Rajkot, 3 positive cases in Porbandar, Porbandar. 2 positive, 2 positive in Mehsana, 2 positive in Patan, one positive in Panchmahal and one killed, 1-1 corona positive in Chotaudepur and Jamnagar. NEW DELHI: Facebook-owned WhatsApp has reduced the Status video limit from 30 seconds to 15 seconds in India to cut strain on Internet networks during the coronavirus lockdown in the country as millions of people have started sharing videos in Status.

A tweet by WABetaInfo has revealed WhatsApp has put a bar on time limit for videos posted under the 'Status' section of the Facebook-owned instant messaging app.

"You can no longer send videos to WhatsApp Status if they are longer than 16 seconds: only videos having a duration of 15 seconds will be allowed. This is happening in India and it's probably an initiative to reduce the traffic on the server infrastructures," WABetaInfo tweeted on Sunday.

India has over 400 million WhatsApp users.

Facebook-owned messaging platform is asking users to crop any video longer than 15 seconds time duration and only then it can be posted as Status.

At the time of launch, WhatsApp allowed 90 seconds to three minutes of video and if the existing video is larger than 16MB if gave an option to trim the length of the video before sending it.

Later, the limit was reduced to 30 seconds.

WhatsApp has seen a 40 per cent increase in usage globally, according to a study by Kantar, a data and consulting company.

In a strange move, WhatsApp has reduced the video status duration limit from 30 seconds to 15 seconds in India. In other words, WhatsApp users in India can no longer be able to post video status longer than 15 seconds.




Facebook is yet to make an official announcement behind the move, but, according to the WhatsApp fan website, WABetainfo, the step was taken to “reduce the traffic on the server infrastructures.” The website also claims that the reduction in the limit is not going to be a permanent thing. In all likelihood, WhatsApp users in India will get back the previous limit of 30 seconds when the country eases the lockdown, which was enforced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Interestingly enough, the new 15 seconds cap has been introduced only to India. Nevertheless, if you’re based in India, you can still be able to upload a video longer than 15 seconds, but you’ll have to divide the video into two 15-second parts if you’re planning to upload a 30-second video. And if it’s longer than 30 seconds, you can do the math.

Telecom major Bharti Airtel has announced some measures to help low-income group customers impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Airtel has extended the prepaid packs validity till April 17. Subscribers will continue to get incoming calls on their Airtel mobile numbers even after the validity of their plan is exhausted. Airtel claims it will help over 80 million low-income mobile subscribers.

Airtel will also credit an additional Rs 10 of talk time in the pre-paid accounts of all these 80 million customers to enable them to make calls or send SMS. The offer has been kicked off, and these benefits will be available to users in the next 48 hours.

“These 80 million customers effectively cover all under-privileged households on the Airtel Network. These special measures will particularly benefit migrant workers and daily wage earners who may have been impacted due to the nationwide lockdown to combat COVID-19. All other customers on Airtel’s network are already recharging their accounts using online platforms,” said the company in a release.

“In this difficult hour of fighting off the threat of Covid-19, Airtel is committed to ensuring that all people remain connected without any disruptions. And for this objective, it is critical to take care of the under-privileged daily wage earners of our country, whose lives have been disrupted due to the lock-down,” said Shashwat Sharma, chief marketing officer, Bharti Airtel.

Meanwhile, Airtel has announced free access to its e-book platform Juggernaut Books to support people in staying home during the lockdown. "As India stays at home to support the government's efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19, readers can now access thousands of top books and novels on Juggernaut Books (formerly known as Airtel Books) for free by simply downloading the app (Android/iOS) on their smartphones," Bharti Airtel said in a statement.

Telecom sector regulator Trai has asked telecom operators to extend the validity period of prepaid users to ensure that subscribers get uninterrupted services during the 21-day nationwide lockdown.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has also sought details of the steps being taken to ensure the availability of uninterrupted telecom services to such customers on a "priority basis".



" ... you are required to take necessary steps as deemed fit including extending the validity period to ensure that all prepaid subscribers can enjoy uninterrupted services during the period of lockdown," Trai said in a communication to all operators on Sunday.

The communication on "measures regarding ensuring the availability of recharge vouchers and payment options for prepaid services" comes in the backdrop of 21-day lockdown imposed in the country to deal with the outbreak and spread of coronavirus pandemic.

"Though the telecommunication services have been considered as essential services and thus granted an exception from closing down ... However, lockdown may adversely affect the working of customer service centres/point of sale locations," Trai said.

The regulator added: "Under the circumstances, it is quite possible that those subscribers who wish to top up their prepaid balances or wish to extend the subscription to a prepaid tariff using offline channels may face hardships and/or disruption of services".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 24, announced a complete lockdown of the entire country for 21 days in an unprecedented move to try to halt the spread of the pandemic, shortly after which the Centre said road, rail, and air services will remain suspended during this period.\

The pandemic has claimed 29 lives in the country and the number of COVID-19 cases has touched 1,071 in India.

Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Women Account Holders to Receive Rs 500 Per Month from Today

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.


The move comes after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that women Jan Dhan account holders would get Rs 500 for three months as part of the coronavirus relief package.

Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner.

The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) on Wednesday asked banks to start depositing Rs 500 directly into the accounts held by women under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY). The remittance under the recently announced Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had assured the women Jan Dhan account holders that Rs 500 would be deposited in their accounts for the next three months starting April 3 while announcing relief package of Rs 1.7 lakh crore. Such steps have been taken to ease the stress of the sections worst hit by lockdown imposed due to coronavirus.

The remittance under the scheme will be provided between April 3 and April 9. The IBA has said that amount will be deposited as per a schedule to ensure an orderly withdrawal of money. The money will be put into bank accounts of women as per the last digit of their Jan Dhan account numbers.

Account numbers that end with 0 or 1 will receive money on April 3, while those with 2 or 3 as last digits will get the amount on April 4. Similarly, account holders with 4 or 5 as the last digits will get the remittance on April 7. The money will be deposited in account numbers ending with 6 or 7 on April 8. Account numbers with 8 or 9 as their last digit will receive the remittance on April 9.


Beneficiaries can withdraw this money from the nearest ATMs and there is no need to rush to their bank’s branches at the time when people are advised to practice social distancing.

Overdraft facility upto Rs. 10,000/- is available in only one account per household, preferably lady of the household.

Avtaar is a 1983 drama film starring Rajesh Khanna and Shabana Azmi. It was directed by Mohan Kumar, and the music was by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Avtaar was a commercial hit, and was critically acclaimed The film earned several Filmfare award nominations. Rajesh Khanna achieved success with Amardeep and Prem Bandhan onwards, but this was Rajesh Khanna's biggest film in terms of box office collections since 1973. However, Rajesh Khanna lost the Best Actor award to Naseeruddin Shah for Masoom. In 1986, Mohan Kumar made Amrit with Rajesh Khanna in the lead as an old man, but with a different story line. Rajesh Khanna received an All-India Critics Association (AICA) Best Actor Award for his performance in this film in 1983.

The film starts with wife Radha Kishen (Shabana Azmi) garlanding her husband Avtaar Kishen's (Rajesh Khanna) bust while she mourns his death, then flashes back thirty years. Radha, is the only daughter of Seth Jugal Kishore (Madan Puri), and is in love with Avtaar, a poor boy. Her father disapproves so the two elope and get married.

After various hardships, the couple ultimately succeed; after three decades, Avtaar is owner of a small house and fortune. they have two sons, Chander (Gulshan Grover) and Ramesh (Shashi Puri). Chander is married to Renu (Rajni Sharma), while Ramesh is married to Sudha (Priti Sapru). Avtaar also has a servant named Sewak (Sachin).

Chander gets married to the only daughter of Seth Laxmi Narayan (Pinchoo Kapoor) and becomes a Gharjamai. Meanwhile Ramesh registers the house under his wife's name instead of Radha's. This enrages Avtaar and he leaves his home, accompanied by Radha and Sewak. With help of a moneylender Bawaji (Sujit Kumar), Avtaar starts his own garage.

Avtaar faces an uphill task, since he has no money to buy equipment, is aged and his right hand was paralysed in an accident. Sewak helps his master by illegally donating blood to arrange funds, but when Avtaar assumes Sewak has resorted to robbery, Bawaji tells the truth. Moved, Radha and Avtaar come to regard him as a true son.

Meanwhile, both Ramesh and Chander are enjoying their lives. Avtaar's luck changes and the carburetor he is working on gives a successful result. Avtaar starts manufacturing the engine parts, and creates an industrial empire headed by himself, his wife and Sewak.

Avtaar's success takes a toll on Laxmi Narayan's business and he holds Chander responsible. Ramesh commits bank fraud and is arrested. Shobha comes to Avtaar for help, but he rebukes her and sends her away. Radha becomes angry, but remains silent. Avtaar secretly gives Bawaji the bail money on the condition that he tells no one; Bawaji bails Ramesh.

Meanwhile, holding Chandar responsible for the loss in business, Laxmi Narayan throws him out of the house. Ramesh, Chandar and Sudha go to Radha for assistance, but Avtaar disagrees. Next day, Avtaar goes to the office and does not return. Radha calls him and late at night, tries to convince him to help their children, but he refuses to listen. Emotionally, Radha accuses him of having become heartless. Bawaji meets Radha, who tells him the whole story. Bawaji confesses the truth to her as he cannot bear Avtaar being ill thought of. The number of infected till now in the government statistics is 1251. 101 of which have recovered.

The Corona virus was the highest case of 208 cases on Monday. The first case came up against 151 cases on March 27. On Monday, 35 patients were found in Maharashtra and 32 in Kerala. Apart from this, there has been a positive report of 1-1 in Delhi, 25 in Uttar Pradesh, 24 in Chandigarh, 5 in Punjab, 2 in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Haryana and Andaman-Nicobar. The total number of infected persons has now increased to 1 thousand 347. These statistics are according to the covid19india.org website. The number of infected till now in the government statistics is 1251. 101 of which have recovered.

The health ministry said the transition has not yet reached the community level

The Ministry of Health said on Monday that the transmission of corona virus in the country has not yet reached the community level, which is being transmitted at the local level. "Everybody in the society will have to collaborate, or whatever consequences have come to prevent the transition so far, all will go wrong," Joint Secretary of the Ministry Love Agarwal said. He has since appealed that 100 per cent of people remain alert and contribute to the country to get rid of the disease. Love Agarwal said, "If anyone suspects that he is infected, please do not hide him."

Maharashtra; Total infected -238: 35 new cases came up on Monday. Mumbai has the highest 75 patients. Besides, there are 42 patients in Pune, 25 in Sanghali and 12 in Nagpur. So far 39 patients have recovered in the state.

Punjab; Total infected-41: Three new positives were found in the state on Monday. A 21-year-old youth was found infected in Ramnagar Senia village in Patiala district. Also back in Nepal. The local system has sealed the entire village as part of the alert. His family has been appealed to stay at home.
