As per reports, India has now become the largest producer and consumer of sugar and its second-largest exporter, globally.

During the 2021-22 sugar season (October-September), India has created a record by producing over 5,000 lakh metric tons (LMT) of sugarcane, among which approximately 3,574 LMT was crushed by sugar mills to produce about 394 LMT of sugar (sucrose). Among these, 35 LMT sugar was diverted to ethanol production, and 359 LMT sugar was produced by sugar mills.

Statement by Google

As per the official statement released by Google, “This programmer is part of a larger effort by Google towards improving the representation of women across different sections of India’s digitally-trained workforce – be it entrepreneurship, professionals looking to up-skill or young graduates seeking a head start on their career.”

While talking about the curriculum, Google officials said, “In addition to these, the curriculum will include workshops and support around AI/ML, Cloud, UX, Android, Web, product strategy and growth, as well as provide access to a global community of women founders.”

Some of the already selected startups include Aspire for Her, Brown Living, Col Learn Education, Commune, Dub-verse, Elda Health, Fit bots, among others

For instance, Misery startup is building a world-class review-focused ecosystem with an aim to remove product misinformation through authentic reviews and customer feedback, while O POD Audio is a vernacular audio app that provides contextual information on trending news and current affairs in just 30 seconds.

IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Sunday said some of these labs across the country will come incubators to train scholars, promote invention, exploration and trial, 

 

 After the launch of 5G services in India, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Sunday that the government plans to set up 100 5G labs across the country. Some of these labs will also be turned into incubators to train scholars, promote invention, exploration and trial. 

 Quotation by the IT Minister 

 Vaishnaw, on the alternate day of the Indian Mobile Congress( IMC) 2022 in New Delhi, said, “ We're going to set up 100 5G labs across the country. I request the telecom assiduity to come together and convert at least 12 of these 100 labs into telecom incubators to train scholars and do trials. 

 

 He talked about how the government is working significantly towards simplifying the licence governance for telecom players. “ I'm really happy to see the energy of startups and MSMEs who are going to pastoral areas to profit people, ” Vaishnaw said.
