The next phase of the world’s largest vaccination drive for the age appropriate population groupswill commence from 1stMarch 2021


You can cause coronavirus infections to your personal individuals. If you stay safe, you will inevitably be able to protect your personal life as well. If any of your personal people fall into the high-risk category, you may also need to be vaccinated.

Registration will open at 9:00 am on 1st March 2021 (at www.cowin.gov.in).

Citizens will be able to register and book and appointment for vaccination, anytime and anywhere, using the COWIN 2.0 portal or through other IT applications such as Arogya Setu etc.

This information was shared during the orientation workshop organised by the Union Health Ministry and the National Health Authority (NHA) for the 10,000 private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, more than 600 hospitals empanelled under CGHS and other private hospitals empanelled under State Government’s Health Insurance Schemes,on Co-WIN2.0.The modalities of the new features integrated in the CoWIN2.0 digital platformwere explained to them.The private empanelled COVID Vaccination Centers (CVCs) were also trained on various aspects of the process of vaccination and management of adverse events following immunization (AEFI) through video conference with the support of the National Health Authority (NHA).

The participants were explained that all citizens that are aged, or will attain the age of, 60 years or more as on 1st January 2022 are eligible to register, in addition to all such citizens that are aged, or will attain the age of, 45 years to 59 years as on 1st January 2022, and have any of the specified 20 comorbidities (as annexed).

There will be only one live appointment for a beneficiary at any point of time for each dose. Appointments for any date for a COVID Vaccination Center will be closed at 3:00 pm on that day for which the slots were opened. For example, for 1st March the slots will be open from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm on 1st March, and the appointments can be booked anytime before that, subject to availability. However, on 1st March an appointment can also be booked for any future date for which vaccination slots are available. A slot for second dose will also be booked at the same COVID Vaccination Center on 29th day of the date of appointment of the 1st dose. If a beneficiary cancels a first dose appointment, then appointment of both doses will be cancelled.

The eligible persons will be able to register at the Co-WIN2.0 portal through their mobile number, through a step by step process. With one mobile number, a person can register as many as four beneficiaries. However, all those registered on one mobile number will have nothing in common except the mobile number. The Photo ID Card Number for each such beneficiary must be different. Either of the following Photo Identity Documents can be used by citizens for availing of online registration

Passport
Driving License
PAN Card
NPR Smart Card
Pension Document with photograph

 More than 12 lakh students of standard 10 and more than 4 lakh students of standard 12 will have to wait for the decision till May 15

 Due to uncontrollable corona in Gujarat, mass promotion has been given to students of Std. 1 to 9 and Std.  While standard 10 and 12 examinations have been postponed.  However, the biggest question now is whether the standard 10 and standard 12 exams will be held in the situation where Corona is now reaching home.  DivyaBhaskar then had an exclusive conversation with Dinesh Patel, Secretary, Board of Secondary Education.  In the conversation, he said that the review meeting will be held on May 15.  This meeting will decide on the standard 10 and 12 examinations.

 Divyabhaskar: When will the standard 10 and 12 exams be decided?

 Dinesh Patel: A review meeting will be held on May 15.  The review meeting will be attended by the Education Department, Health Department and the Chief Minister and the situation will be reviewed by all of them.  Only then will a decision be made about the exam.  No decision on the exam will be taken till May 15.

 Divyabhaskar: Will standard 10 and 12 exams be canceled?

 Dinesh Patel: There is no consideration about canceling the standard 10 examination at present.  The review meeting will be held on May 15.  It will decide on the examination keeping in view the situation at that time.

 Divyabhaskar: If the exam is not canceled, how will it be taken between the transitions?

 Dinesh Patel: If no decision is taken to cancel the exam, guidelines on how to conduct the exam and with how many students will be present will also be released.  But till May 15, more than 12 lakh students of Gujarat Board's Std. 10 and more than 4 lakh students of Std. 12 will have to wait for the decision.

 The education department and the government are confused about taking the exam

 The education department and the state government still seem to be confused about taking the standard 10 and 12 exams.  While the CBSE board and other states have given mass promotions in standard 10, no decision has been taken by the board in Gujarat yet.  Apart from this, a letter has also been written by the Board of Guardians to the Chief Minister and the Education Department to cancel the examination.  But no decision has been taken about the exam yet.

 It is difficult to arrange an examination system between unruly corona

 More than 10 lakh students are to appear for the standard 10 examination.  It seems very difficult to manage at the present stage.  Because if the amount of oxygen and medicine is missing, who is responsible for such a large number of students sitting for exams and getting corona infection?  Students are also confused about how to get admission in the next year.

 The effect of Corona's condition on the students' psyche

 The Board of Trustees has given a letter to the Education Minister stating the reasons for canceling the examinations.  The corona virus has had a serious effect on the minds of students.  They do not understand how to prepare for the exams, as no date has been set.  Parents are also worried about the current Corona situation and the way Corona's cases are increasing, so they are not ready to put students to the test.
